I made it from a T-shirt I was given yesterday. I fell asleep, dreaming up a pattern and this is the final product. Didn't take long to make, just a few hours. The top fits better then the bottoms, but the biggest complaint is I cut too much in the butt and so its less conservative then I'd like.

I hope you guys like it! I'm not a real pirate fan, but I am pleased with how it came out!

That is such a cool bikini. If its made out of a T-shirt is it still ok to swim in or do you think it will get too heavy

I'm not sure. I go to an all womens school so I was going to try it out in our pool first before doing it in public .. to make sure it holds up and doesn't look funny wet ^.^

There isn't much material to worry about it getting wet, maybe in the bottoms .. i'm not worried about the top at all though

Although, i worry it'll fade quicky.

If it doesn't fare well in the pool, you can still wear the top half out in the summer ... and the bottom half too if you are brave enough
